Big Brother: After Dark

Not Big Brother, Big Brother After Dark!

This show is amazing if you like Big Brother! I have watched it every single night and love it! Basically, its the cameras from Big Brother, LIVE! Instead of just Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, its every day! It can get boring but it shows some stuff that you would never see on the main show! Ashley admitted she doesn't like Ian and said he needs to leave, yet today she said she likes him! Also, they are given alcohol in BB, but they don't drink just one beer on the day they get it, no, they save it and party! Its funny to see all the host guests getting drunk and talking about completely stupid things. Also, you get to hear all the house-guests being called to the diary room and seeing stuff they don't have time to show, very cool!

Big Brother after dark is a crisp, interesting show that you should try to watch some time! Its on Showtime 2, every night at 12am-4am

Dance Moms

Dance moms... Where to start? This show is one of the best reality TV shows ever created. First time I saw it was with a bunch of friends and we were watching it because there was nothing else on. WE ALL LOVED IT! about a week later, we all waited eagerly for a new episode and would discuss it the next day at work! Each week the show follows Abby Lee Miller's Dance Studios competition team. This consists of Maddie, Nia, Paige, Brooke, Mackenzie, and Chloe. The show does show them dancing and the final competition, but it mainly follows the moms. These are some of the most interesting people on TV. The dance moms all have their on opinions and are not afraid to share them. There always seems to be a fight about something. Now, you may think that might get annoying to watch but somehow, you get attached to each fight and want it to go on! All the girls seem nice and it is so nice to see their mothers looking out for them and supporting them so much!

Now, once in a while, we get a new dancer named Payton. Payton does not belong anywhere close to this group. If you have seen an episode with Payton in it, you would see that she is distractingly ugly. I'm not trying to be mean to her family or her (hopefully she won't see this) but honestly! She is hard to look at and I fast fowarded through her solo!

All in all, this is a must see show and hopefully it continues for years to come and we can see the girls get older and maybe one day stand up and tell Abby off!

Tosh.O

Tosh.O

Go ahead, say he is unfunny, or that he tries to hard. Trust me, he doesn't care! Daniel Tosh is one of the best hosts of an internet show on TV. He may not be the best comedian, but he does his other job well. All those stupid shows like The Soup, and that bullshit one on G4 are nothing compared to this! He brought this idea of reviewing and showing internet clips on TV. Some of the ones he shows you might have seen before, but it's still funny to here what he has to say! Some weeks are extremely funny, but others are not as great. If your a true fan, you stick it out and continue watching.

Tosh has a new show coming out that he is really trying to sell on Tosh.O called "Brickleberry" which looks pretty good.  It looks like he is putting a lot of effort into it and I will definitely be DVRing it when it premiers!

Check out Tosh's site here

Tosh.O is on Tuesdays at 10 EST on Comedy Central

Workaholics

Workaholics

People do not give this show enough credit. It is extremely funny. If you watch it with the fucking attitude of "you need to be stupid to like this" then your not going to enjoy it. Yesterdays episode had me laughing the whole entire time. Being on after Tosh.O really helps to because you can watch tosh, then this right after. (then Dance Moms if you like that show) The show is about three guys who have a job at a call center and just smoke weed and drink constantly. They always seem to find trouble and keep the show interesting! Make sure this is being recorded each week Tuesdays at 10:30pm EST!

Boy Meets World

Boy Meets World

Now, I know this show isn't new, but it is something I just started watching and I really like it! Basically, these 4 kids always seem to cause problems mostly revolving around girls, school, and growing up. The first episode I watched, I didn't like it, but I gave it a chance and now I love it! I would record 5 episodes of this a day! (I know crazy!) Honeslty, give this show a chance and you might love it too! This show is on ABC Family every weekday morning 7-930am (Check local listings)

Howard Stern Show

Howard Stern Show!
Now, I know this isn't a TV show, but I just wanted to add it to this blog. I am an active listener of The Howard Stern Show and have been for about 2 years. I havn't missed a show ever! He is on 6am-10am on Sirius Radio (Paid subscription required). He is extremely funny and every single day has a new adventure with the same group of people. Robin Quivers is there and does the news at the end. They also have two people assigned to doing prank calls! What a job! Here is a video of Sal and Richard making a prank call (Graphic Language)

I am telling you, you will love Howard if you start to listen. He is on Monday-Wednesday and sometimes Thursdays.

Big Brother

BIG BROTHER!

This is my favorite show out there! Its so simple, yet it makes such a great show!  12-16 people live in a house together. Seems simple right? It has such a good and easy concept! I watch it every single season and there are new episodes on right now!   They are played Wednesday Thursday and Sunday. (check your local listings)

Heres some more info

Although each country has made its own adaptations and changes to the format, the contestants are confined to a specially-designed house where their every action is recorded by cameras and microphones at all times and they are not permitted to make any contact with the outside world.
In all the countries that have produced Big Brother they have referred to the contestants as "Housemates" however in the American version of the format they are referred to as "Houseguests".
Besides living together under continuous observation, which is the major attraction of the contest, the program relies on four basic props: The stripped-bare back-to-basics environment in which they live, the evictions, the weekly tasks and competitions set by Big Brother and the "Diary/Confession Room", in which the housemates individually convey their thoughts, feelings, and frustrations and reveal their nominees for eviction.
Contestants are required to evict one of their own on a regular basis; in the earlier series of Big Brother contestants were evicted every two weeks, however as introduced in the UK version evictions occurred once a week, all of the current series of Big Brother follow this format.
At regular intervals, the housemates each privately nominate a number of fellow housemates that they wish to see evicted from the house. The housemates with the most nomination points are then announced and viewers are given the opportunity to vote via phone for whom they wish to see evicted. The only known exception to this process is the American version, in which the housemates themselves vote to evict each other. After the votes are tallied, the "evictee" leaves the house and is interviewed live by the host of the show, usually in front of a studio audience.
In some cases two housemates may be evicted simultaneously (a "double eviction"), or rarely, no housemates will be removed for that week. At the end of the game, the last remaining housemate is declared the winner of that particular series and receives prizes, often including a large amount of money, a car, a vacation and (in some editions) a house.
In the first season of most series of Big Brother, the house that the housemates had to live in was very basic. Although essential amenities such as running water, furniture and a limited ration of food were provided, luxury items were often forbidden. This added a survivalist element to the show, increasing the potential for social tension within the house. Nowadays, almost all series provide a modern house for the contest, with a jacuzzi, sauna, VIP suite, loft and other luxuries.
The contestants are required to do housework, and are set tasks by the producers of the show, who communicate with the housemates via the omnipresent authority figure known to them only as "Big Brother". The tasks are designed to test their teamwork abilities and community spirit, and in some countries the housemates' shopping budget or weekly allowance often depends on the outcome of any given tasks. The housemates have a weekly allowance with which they can buy food and other essentials.
Most international versions of the show remain quite similar to each other in that their main format remains true to the original fly on the wall, observational style, with the emphasis being on human relationships. This is taken to the extent that contestants are forbidden from discussing nominations or voting strategy altogether. The US version, however, has since 2001 taken on a significantly different format from the others in their second season, with a far stronger emphasis on strategy, competition and voting, where the public does not choose who to evict. In 2011, theUK version adapted the discussion of nominations.

Person Of Interest

                                                                    Person of Interest
This show I started watching on the first day and it was a little confusing at first, but I love it now! It is like an advanced version of CSI. Its the best of every single crime show merged into one!

John Reese (Jim Caviezel), a former Green Beret and CIA field officer, is living as a derelict in New York City after an unspecified incident, and is presumed dead. He is approached by Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), a reclusive billionaire computer genius who is living under an assumed identity. Finch explains that after 9/11, he built a computer system for the government which uses information gleaned from omnipresent surveillance to predict future terrorist attacks. Finch discovers that the computer was predicting ordinary crimes as well. While the government was not interested in these results, Finch is determined to find a way to stop the predicted crimes. He hires Reese to conduct surveillance and intervene as needed, using his repertoire of skills gained in the military and CIA. Through a back door built into the system, Finch receives a social security number for someone who will be involved in an imminent crime, at which time he contacts Reese. Without knowing what the crime will be, when it will occur, or even if the person they're after is a victim or perpetrator, Reese and Finch must try to stop the crime from occurring. They are helped by NYPD Detectives Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman), a corrupt cop whom Reese coerces into helping them, and Joss Carter (Taraji P. Henson) who had originally been investigating Reese for his vigilante activities. Although Carter and Fusco are partners in the NYPD, for a time, neither was aware that the other is working with Finch and Reese.
A major subplot concerns "HR", an organization of corrupt NYPD cops in league with a budding mob boss, Carl Elias. Led by several high-ranking officers, the members of HR work with Elias to return New York to the old order, when the mob and police worked together. Elias, on the other hand, is merely using HR as a means to regain complete control of New York's organized crime. Despite his desire to be seen as a good cop, Fusco must appear to be in league with HR, which allows Reese to keep tabs on the activities of both HR and Elias.

What do you watch?!

I will update with the shows I enjoy to follow, but what about you? What shows do you like? Maybe I will start watching them too!

                                                                               WEEDS

WEEDS is amazing! I watched every single episode and was very happy to find out they would be making new ones! Even if your against marijuana, this show is still amazing and funny to watch!

Weeds is an American dark comedy series created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Tilted Productions in association with Lionsgate Television. The central character is Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), a widowed mother of two boys who begins selling Cannabis to support her family after her husband dies suddenly of a heart attack. Over the course of the show, she and her family become more entangled in illegal activities.
The primary locale of the first three seasons is in the fictional town of Agrestic, California. During seasons four and five, the Botwins reside in the fictional beachside town of Ren Mar in San Diego County, California. The show's finale for season 7 drew nearly a 50% decrease in viewers since the debut of season 5, and will conclude after airing its eighth season. In 2010, TV Guide Network bought the airing rights, providing an edited version of the show to audiences free of charge. The show has received numerous awards, including two Satellite Awards, one Golden Globe Award, Writers Guild of America Award, Young Artist Award, and an Emmy Award.

Wilfred

                                                                      Wilfred (US)

I highly recommend this show! It is very funny and has some pretty interesting characters and people in it. It is on thursday nights at 10pm on FX. Here is some more information about it:

Wilfred is an American sitcom television series which debuted on June 23, 2011, and is based on the Australian SBS One series of the same name. It stars Elijah Wood and series co-creator Jason Gann, reprising his role of the eponymous dog Wilfred. The series was adapted for the American television channel FX by Family Guy veteran David Zuckerman. It was picked up for a second season on August 6, 2011. The second season premiered on June 21, 2012.

The show follows a young man named Ryan (Elijah Wood) and his neighbor's dog Wilfred (Jason Gann). At first Ryan is suicidal, attempting to kill himself several times in the first episode. Ryan's female neighbor, Jenna (Fiona Gubelmann), asks him to look after her dog for the day. Ryan is taken aback as he sees Wilfred as an Australian man in a dog suit, while everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog
